NBA Preview: Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks

The once unstoppable New York Knicks are starting to show some team flaws and should have their hands full against the Warriors. It is a battle of one of the East’s best against the West. At home, the Knicks are fantastic, but at the same time, the Warriors have been dominant on the road. This should be an exciting bet for sports betting fans as it is sure to be a close game.

New York Knicks
The Knicks are battered by injury with Felton, Wallace and Camby out. They won their last game against Philadelphia, but have had a disappointing last ten games only winning five. Luckily, the Knicks are 20-8, so don’t expect them to go down in this matchup easily. Carmelo Anthony leads the team in points per game with 28.4 points per game, with Tyson Chandler leading in rebounds and blocks.

Golden State Warriors
The Warriors have a great record as well going 33-23. They have won their last three games, but have only gone 4-6 in their last ten games. Stephan Curry leads the team in points, Assists and steals per game. As long as he can get around the Knick’s subpar defense, he should be able to make an impact.
Many online sports books and betting sites have the Knicks listed as the favorites by 6.5 points. It is hard to see how there could be such a point differential, especially with all the Knick injuries. The over/under is set at 206.5 which does make sense as each team on average scores over 100 points.
