Fun and betting

I do not usually play Casino games online all of the time but sometimes it is a real fun to have a break of the prognosis and test your pure luck on the virtual machines. News like the one I have previously posted today - an incredible, merely 4 million pounds jackpot that was won online in the Christmas Eve on a simple slot game - makes you believe miracles do happen this time of the year.

It is warm, you are sitting at home, having a nice cup of cappuccino and it won't hurt you if you spent some of the big money you hit in 2010 (of course, if you had followed our picks regularly:).
Generally it depends on your taste when choosing the particular game in the Casino but Blackjack is one of my favorites as it has simple rules, lots of action going on while wondering on hit me or not and doubling your money on a single hit is always a good, value bet to take. In case you need to be serious about it and consider having a Blackjack Strategy, you can read the tips and moves offered by the virtual rooms themselves - it is an easy way to get started with more than pure luck in your pocket.
Whatever you choose to play, remember - have a fun and do not bet amounts you can't afford to loose.
Have a successful 2011 year and don't forget to come back shortly for our regular portion of sports betting picks and reviews!

Bingo at bet365 player taloo1 is sure to be enjoying an extra special festive season this year, having scooped an incredible £3,922,736 Progressive Jackpot win on Christmas Eve!

This amazing win came courtesy of bet365’s Clover Rollover – a magical Slot Game in which players can enjoy the luck of the Irish while spinning the colourful reels. This is exactly what happened to taaloo1, who was lucky enough to spin five shamrock symbols and trigger his fantastic jackpot win.

On realising he'd hit the Progressive Jackpot, taaloo1 was understandably shocked and excited. The sheer scale of his win has not yet fully sunk in, so he's not made any immediate plans for what he will do with the money. NCAAF Betting – Pryor Among Five Buckeyes Suspended Five Games For Next Season

A recent trip to a tattoo parlor has cost the Ohio State Buckeyes five of its players for the first five games of the 2011 college football betting season. Star quarterback Terrelle Pryor was among the players suspended by the NCAA for the first five games of next year for accepting improper benefits from the owner of a local tattoo parlor, a man to which those involved sold championship rings, jerseys, and awards. In a bit of a surprising twist however, all five players will be eligible for this year’s Sugar Bowl, with the reasoning being that the NCAA will not suspend its players for the bowl game they earned because Ohio State did not do a good enough job of informing its players of the conditions that would mean breaking the rules. The other Buckeyes that are involved include leading rusher Dan Herron, No. 2 wide receiver DeVier Posey, All-Big Ten offensive tackle Mike Adams and defensive end Solomon Thomas.

The No. 6 Buckeyes are scheduled to meet the eighth-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks next Tuesday in New Orleans where the AllState Sugar Bowl is to be played, and are fortunate not only to have their players for that game, but for a relatively easy schedule to open next online sports betting season. Ohio State will play Akron, Toledo, and Colorado but could face tougher tests against Miami and Michigan State. The Buckeyes plan on appealing the suspensions and the number could very well be reduced, but with the Hurricanes coming to town in just the third week the team may have to get through a tough test shorthanded.

A look at Pryor’s arm tells the story of just how much ink he and his teammates received, and with tattoo’s ranging from $50 and up, this was a case of special damages where the NCAA had no problem assessing the football betting penalty. The junior signal-caller has an entire arm covered in tattoos, with several more in other locations, all of which he received due to his status with the school and free of charge. According to NCAA regulations players are now allowed to receive any benefits or discounts whatsoever based on their status with schools, therefore meaning that the five players are in clear violation. However, the story does not end there with reports that Pryor also sold a sportsmanship award from the 2008 Fiesta Bowl along with his 2008 Big Ten championship ring, and must repay $2,500 for selling those items. The other players involved have all been suspended for receiving benefits as well as selling their rings, football jerseys, pants, and shoes. A dollar value was assessed to each player for which they have to pay back to make up for the damages. Athletic director Gene Smith told the media that he felt the penalties should be mitigated at a time where times are tough for many families, while Pryor elected to simply post on his sportsbook bonus Twitter account, “I paid for my tattoos. Go Bucks.”

NBA Betting – New Look Magic Continue To Struggle With Loss To Mavericks

The holiday season is already here, but there wasn’t much magic in the air for at least one NBA betting team at the Amway Center last night. Jason Kidd scored 13 points and dished out a game-high 12 assists to help the Dallas Mavericks to a 105-99 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night, improving to an outstanding 10-1 on the road this season. Their performance wasn’t the biggest story from the game however, as the recently reconstructed Magic lost for the eighth time in nine games.

The Magic looked disorganized once again without much sports betting time to practice since a series of blockbuster moves reshaped the entire look of the team this past Saturday. Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson, and Hedo Turkoglu all saw big minutes in Orlando’s second straight loss since the deals went down. The Magic had made the deals that sent Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis, and Marcin Gortat out of town on the weekend because that group hadn’t been providing All-Star center Dwight Howard with enough help, but nothing has changed in the first few games since.

Howard was a monster once again in the sportsbook promo loss, scoring 26 points and grabbing 23 rebounds in the biggest individual performance of the night, but didn’t get any help from his supporting cast. The game was the third straight in which the All Star center has grabbed at least 20 boards, but while he has done an excellent job creating for himself and his teammates the same cannot be said about any other member in white-and-blue. The three big names acquired in the deals were the ones that struggled the most in their home debuts, with Arenas the worst of them all. Arenas shot just 1-for-6 from the field to finish with two points, while Richardson and Turkoglu combined for 19 on 6-for-24 shooting. While the individual play is an obvious concern, head coach Stan Van Gundy continues to allude to the fact that the team hadn’t had time to draw up plays for the newcomers, and that in time the chemistry and rhythm of the offense will make this team that much better.

However, for the near future at least time is a luxury that the Magic don’t have. Orlando will face three of the best teams in the NBA over the next seven days, including the San Antonio Spurs and defending Eastern conference champion Boston Celtics back-to-back over their next two. While Van Gundy has a point in that the team should get better with time once they develop a familiarity with one another, there is a pattern through the first two games together. In each of the Magic’s last two losses, Orlando has fallen behind by double digits late in the game only to mount some sort of comeback and get it close before once again falling back. Those flashes have shown how good they can be, but time and consistency will be a major factor going forward in to this NFL betting weekend.

Bet On NCAA Football – Cougars, Miners Kick Off Bowl Season

Those who bet on NCAA football have been waiting for bowl season to start, and it finally kicks off on Saturday in the New Mexico Bowl, where BYU will square off with UTEP, who are back in the bowls for the first time since 2005.

BYU UTEP Betting – Saturday, 2:00 PM ET

The Cougars (6-6, 5-3) finished fifth in the Mountain West, and this is their last game as a member of the MWC as they will be independent next season. BYU struggled out of the gate, losing five of their last seven culminating with a 31-3 road romp at the hands of TCU, but they turned it around thanks to a four-game winning streak, and they lost by a single point to Utah in the “Holy War”. Some online horse betting players will say that a jockey change can inspire a horse, and a quarterback change definitely sparked the Cougars as freshman Jake Heaps stepped in and gave BYU some hope for the future. BYU was uncharacteristically low in the passing ranks, coming in 86th through the air, but Heaps played extremely well down the stretch.

The Miners (6-6, 3-5) came in fourth in the West division of Conference-USA, and their year went the opposite direction of the bowl opponents. UTEP won five of their first six games, but it all went downhill in the second half of the season as they dropped five of their last six, including all four of their games on the road. UTEP’s strength was actually their special teams as they were 10th nationally in kickoff returns and 11th in punt returns, led by Marlon McClure. However, the Miners were 72nd offensively and 86th defensively, and they should just be happy to be back in the bowls after a five-year absence.

Betting services have the Cougars as an 11.5-point favorite in New Mexico, and both teams will be playing for the first time in the fifth edition of this bowl game. BYU may just be happy to play somewhere other than Las Vegas, where they have played in the postseason for the last five years. These two have a history together as they were in the WAC, but it has been rather one-sided as the Cougars have won 25 of their last 27 meetings against the Miners, the last of which came in 1998. We think this game will be a preview of things to come as Heaps will lead an aerial attack on the Miners to give BYU their fourth win in five bowl games, and the Cougars will continue their dominance over an old conference foe. Take BYU to cover the sports betting spread.
