Grab 1.70 Prize With Levski And Bwin

Pick From UEFA Champions League Q

Tampere - Levski
Tuesday, 31 July
Kick off: 5:00pm uk

Hot picks:
Away win

LOST 1:0

Bookmaker:
BWIN

The odds:
in Decimal 1.70

Analyses:
1.70 stakes for Levski today sounds like a birthday gift for all of you who are planning your Champions League betting action tomorrow. Finland champion Tampere United welcomes home Levski from Sofia and will be desperate to over jump team quality, the history and the tradition to guarantee an interesting second leg at least. But i am sure that will not happen and Levski will register a comfort away win which will be the first step on their way to repeat last year Group Phase performance.

Tampere
The team is leading the Finland domestic league after 13 games played, top spotted with 29 points and just 2 losses. Tampere have won the last 4 games at home and add to that domestic record clear 2:0 win against Murata in the second leg of the first qualifications round of the Champions league (they took the first one in San Marino 2:1 too). So, the team is performing solid but now we are talking about totally different level of football and if we go back in the history we can easily see that all Finland squads are not managing that well with the European action. Specially when they meet Bulgarian opponents!
Add to the statistics Tampere weaknesses in defence (the conceded goals in 3 of the last 5 home matches) and the difficulties that they had in the first game in San Marino (Tampere were 1:0 down on the half time) and the result can be crucial for your prediction on that game.
The only advantage for Tampere is the number of official games played already and the better physical form for their players.

Levski

Levski have just won the Bulgarian Super Cup after 2:1 against Litex (in the extra time). They did a solid pre-season camp in Austria and recorded few prestigious results. In the Super Cup final Levski showed nice physical form and good moving on the pitch for that stage of the season.
3 quick reasons to bet blindly on Levski:
- The experience. Levski played in last season’s group stage and gained experience of playing FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC and Werder Bremen
- The keep the squad and add some good quality to it.
- The did their job on the research level - Tzanko Tzvetanov, a former international defender, have already scouted Tampere in action. That means Levski won't underestimate their opponents.

I will take Levski to win on their visit to Tampere and 1.70 from BWIN looks great value.

Unfortunately you can watch Tampere - Levski live only on paid local TV channel. Another option is to follow it on line on Livescore.com.

Arsenal Looks Stronger At 2.30

Pick From Emirates Cup

Arsenal - Inter
Sunday, 29 July
Kick off: 4:15pm uk

Hot picks:
Arsenal to lift the trophy

WON - 2:1
Bookmaker:

bet365

The odds:
in Decimal 2.30

Analyses:
This is the final game of Emirates Cup 2007 in London which will decide where the cup is going. Of course, everything depends also on the Valensia - PSG game earlier today but if the hosts of Arsenal take that one they will lift the first trophy of the season. Sound like a kind of motivation factor when you are playing in front of the fans.

Arsenal beat 2:1 PSG due to second half efforts. It is far from the perfect overall condition for Arsenal but they still show that have a very well organized squad with number of flashing talents. What Arsenal need is more playing time for Fabregas and van Persie who can decide every match and slowly are going back in form. One crucial fact that make me bet on Arsenal - the home stadium and the fact they have the chance to collect the first trophy and lift it in front of the fans.

Inter were 2:0 down from Valensia in the first game and now it will be almost impossible to win the tournament. It is obvious they will use this game for some good pre-season practice for all the players (even Ibrahimovich received only 30 playing minutes in the first match) and that will result in not that balanced play and harmony on the pitch.

Click here to bet on Arsenal and hope for another Gunners glory with 2.30 award by bet365.

You can follow the result line on Livescore.com or watch it live on Arsenal TV for only 3.99 pounds per month.

Taste Sweet Blues Victory With Bet365 At 1.66

Pick From Friendly Games

Rangers - Chelsea
Saturday, 28 July
Kick off: 3pm uk

Hot picks:
Chelsea to win

LOST 2:0

Bookmaker:

bet365

The odds:
for Spain in Decimal 1.66

Analyses:
With pre-season starting flavour for both Rangers welcome Chelsea in a friendly game in Glasgow. It appears will be everything but friendly though. Having had few days to recover the Blues are going into the game as strong favourites for another pre-season victory.

Chelsea
It will be a tough test for Chelsea this one after a travelling from LA and then back from Rotterdam. But the Blues will be boosted by a couple of very important facts. The first one and the big news of the week is the new five-year contract signed by the captain John Terry. The second is that the first important game of the active season is coming very shortly - Community Shield on 5 August. I can also add that I expect Lampard to score one or more to fire his game up just before the start.

Rangers
Rangers, after 1:1 draw with Ajax, are also expecting this one with hopes to
start their season in a style. They will welcome Chelsea at Ibrox just few days before the team start Champions League action. Huge crowds are expected at the stadium so it will be a question of honour for Rangers to show nice piece of football and keep fans dreams alive for upcoming "journey".

The verdict:
Chelsea still looks stronger than Rangers with a solid back lead by the recently signed another 5 year contract John Terry. In LA Chelsea proved to be on the right way with the preparations so after few days for recovering the Blues seems likely winners here. Click here to bet on the Blues, have some "pre-season" beers (not the same taste but still with flavour of the upcoming season, right?) and enjoy your and Chelsea victory with 1.66 award by bet365.

Spain To Win The Trophy Again

Pick From U19 UEFA European Championship

Spain - Greece
Friday, 27 July
Kick off: 7pm uk

Hot picks:
Spain to win WON 1:0

Bookmaker:

bet365

The odds:
for Spain in Decimal 2.05

Analyses:
The final of the 6th UEFA European Under-19 Championship at the Linzer Stadion in Austria will welcome tonight the experienced squad of Spain and the lucky Greece that made their way to the top game with solid defence and plenty of good fortune. Will that good run of luck continue for the Eastern European side? I don't think so - read why.

Spain
As came as tournament favourites Spain actually didn't prove so far that there is a big gap of quality between their squad and the rest of the teams. Yes, they have won the Group A with two draws - against Portugal (1:1) and today opponents of Greece(0:0) - and a 2:0 win against the hosts of Austria and eliminated in the semi-finals the pretenders from France (0:0 and penalty shoot-out) but we still did not watch some outstanding performance by the talented young players of Spain. That means the big game is still to come and tonight, at the final, is the best chance fro smashing the tournament surprising finalist from Greece and confirm the image of absolute dominant side in U19 championships. Spain's captain Javier Martínez is suspended and Sergio Asenjo will replace Felipe Ramos, who has an ankle injury.

Greece
Here they are, at their second youth final ever, coming with lots of luck and solid performances in defence. Greece collected also 5 points (so did Spain) in Group A but finished second due to goal difference. The team managed 1:0 win against Portugal and drew Austria (1:1) and Spain (0:0). In the last four Greece was extremely lucky to go through - 3:2 against Germany with a late winner in a time when the team was in 10 players format due to a red card.
Vassilis Pliatsikas was sent off and he will miss the game tonight. But what is more important,
Sokratis Papastathopoulos, captain of Greece, have picked up his second yellow card and will be also sidelined tonight.

The verdict:
I can see the holders from Spain as heavy favourites to win the final at 2.05 on bet365 and it seems to me that they will do that in a style ( so, try the Over 2.5 Goals market also). Greece have two key players out and despite the fact that Spain will sideline their captain too it will be more crucial miss for Greece squad for sure. Spain have the experience to win that one with impressive win.

Litex With A Chance For Early Glory

Pick From Bulgaria

Levski Sofia - Litex
Thursday, 26 July
Kick off: 6pm uk / 8pm local

Hot picks:
Draw in 90 minutes WON 1:1
Over 2.5 Goals

Bookmaker:

bet365

The odds:
for draw in Decimal 3.60
for Over 2.05

Analyses:
Levski Sofia and Litex, two of the Bulgarian football leaders, will decide who will win the first trophy for the season when they meet tonight in the Bulgarian Supercup final at the National Stadium "Vassil Levski". It will also be the first official game for the new season in Bulgaria and for Levski also while Litex have already registered a game for UEFA Cup tournament (3:0 away win in Malta).

Levski
The Bulgarian Champions kept the squad that appeared in the Champions League groups last season and won the domestic championship in a style and add only two new players - one defender (Morocco youth team international) and one Macedonian midfielder. The team made excellent preparations in Austria and recorded wins against solid clubs from Israel, Poland, etc. Here are all the recent key friendlies of Levski:

21/07/2007

PFC Levski - Arka Gdynia

3:1

19/07/2007

PFC Levski - Brno

3:0

18/07/2007

PFC Levski - Beitar Jerusalem

3:1

15/07/2007

PFC Levski - Sopron

2:1

14/07/2007

PFC Levski - Korona Kielce

1:2

12/07/2007

PFC Levski - Wisla Krakow

1:0

Yes, Levski are heavy favourites to win this one with odds around 1.50 in the different bookies but do not forget they still have not an official game. The fans will be on their side tonight but Levski have two key players injured - influential midfielder Borimirov and the captain and the heart of the defence Topuzakov are both sidelined.

Litex
Litex also made good preparations for this final as they even started their active season earlier due to their upcoming matches in UEFA Cup tournament. Therefore we should expect a much better physical form from their players at that stage. Litex smashed Sliema in Malta in the preliminary rounds of UEFA Cup 3:0 and now are calm and concentrated before the first big game for the year with the rivals Levski. Litex made a wide pre-season selection and added a number of new quality players in the squad - most of them foreigners (including 3 Brazilian players). The team have lost twice from Levski in the Bulgarian league last season but the squad tonight will be pretty different that the one that did the poor record.

The verdict:
If you look for safety bet you can easily take Over 2.5 Goals and put your money on the open play that two coaches announces in their interviews before the game. 2.00 will be a good reward from bet365 for those of you that will follow that advice.

But, in a bit more risky scenario, try the draw in bet365 in the regular time and believe that Litex are in better shape and really prepared to be one next to CSKA as one of the pretenders for the title in Bulgaria this season.

Good luck!

The Saints Will Stop Rovers

Pick From Eircom

Shamrock - St Patricks
Monday, 23 July
Kick off: 08:00 uk
Prediction: Saints to win
LOST 0:0
The odds:
in Decimal 3.10
Bwin in Decimal 3.00
William Hill in Decimal 2.80
Ladbrokes in Fractional 7/4

Bet at home in Decimal 2.70

The verdict:
It will be a tough one for both sides but specially for Saints who seem to be recently out of form in the league and with a game of the European tournaments in the midweek to recover from (they held Odense 0:0 at home). Shamrock have the chance to climb on second if they collect all the 3 points tonight and to play a crucial role in the title contest in Eircom. The team is unbeaten in 8 games and have iron defence - having conceded just two goals at Tolka Park this season - both to Drogheda United with eight other clean-sheets.
David Cassidy returns from suspension for Rovers but Aidan Price and Paul Shiels are set to remain sidelined along with squad members Stephen O'Brien and Mark Langtry.
But why I will take the Saints tonight and I hope the award of tasty 3.10 at bet365? It is not just that the Saints are dominating the clashes with Rovers in the last few games but it is a must win game for them which will confirm their title ambitions. It is the best chance to come back at their form from the beginning of the season with an away win against a great performing team as Rovers is. Gary O'Neill, Joseph Ndo and Colm Foley still remain sidelined by injury for the Saints but the team has enough competitive players to replays them and take the precious 3 points here.

Iran To Join The Last 4 in Asian Cup

Pick From Asian Cup

Iran - South Korea
Sunday, 22 July
Kick off: 11:20 uk
Prediction: Iran to win
LOST 0:0

The odds:
in Decimal 2.10
Bwin in Decimal 1.95
William Hill in Decimal 2.10
Ladbrokes in Fractional 11/10

Bet at home in Decimal 1.95

The verdict:
Iran coach Amir Ghalenoei knows perfectly the week points in South Korea squads as Iran beat them in the preliminary rounds of this cup (1:1 away, 2:0 at home). His team have also won in style the group here and achieved the first goal - to stay at their camp in Malaysia and avoid the travelling and accommodating again which can affect the concentration. The Iranians topped their group during the opening round with wins against Uzbekistan and Malaysia and a 2-2 draw against China. As I watched all their 3 games so far the feeling they still have more to show on the pitch became stronger - Iran are here to win the tournament and South Korea will not stop them now. Ghalenoei also knows that a disciplined tactical system and wise play in defence will assure a win against the Koreans.
On the other hand Korea are missing a number of key players through injury and have to field a number of inexperienced youngsters in every game during this year’s tournament. Even the coach Verbeek admits that Iran are heavy favourites to win tomorrow. I am sure they will and even the fact that Korea have n Iranian-American assistant coach with an in-depth knowledge of Iranian football won't help a lot on the pitch.
My advise is to take on Iran to win in the regular time at tasty 2.10 on bet365.

Draw In The 90 Minutes In The Big Copa America Final

Pick From Copa America

Brazil - Argentina
Sunday, 15 July
Kick off: 22:05 uk
Prediction: Draw in the regular time
(Argentina to win the trophy)
LOST 3:0
The odds:
in Decimal 3.40
Bwin in Decimal 3.55
William Hill in Decimal 3.20
Ladbrokes in Fractional for 2:2 Draw 14/1

Bet at home in Decimal 3.30

The verdict:
The odds for Argentina are going down all around and it really seems this time there is no chance for Brazil to play a tricky game that will lead them to the trophy again. Specially in such matches Brazil will miss Kaka and Ronaldinho a lot, and after the ban the leading midfielder Silva too. On the other hand Messi and Riquelme are flying high at this tournament and will be hard to stop them.
Why I am going for a draw then? I am sure that Brazil will play, against every logic, very carefully in defence and will use every chance opened in front of Robinho who has scored 6 already. That means a wise performance that will stop Argentina with very hard physical game in defence and few but very positive counter attacks. Brazil, probably for the first time in this tournament, knows that they are not the big favourites and should change the tactic if they want to out the tournament with honour.
I will take the risk with a draw in the normal time (probably 1:1 or 2:2) and go in-play for Argentina to win the tournament.

Noone Can Stop Salzburg In Austria

Pick From Austria Bundesliga

1. FC Karnten - SV Salzburg
Sunday, 15 July
Waldstadion Pasching
Kick off: 4:00 pm

Prediction: Away win
LOST 1:0
The odds:
in Decimal 1.50

The verdict:
It was a flying start for the major Bundesliga favourites Salzburg when they beat Altach at home 4:1 in the opening of the campaign last weekend. Zickler scored 2 already and will probably be one of the most dangerous strikers in the championship this year. Red Bull Salzburg started the season with: Ochs; Dudic, Sekagya, Meyer, Alex; Pitak, Carboni, Kovac, Leitgeb; Jezek; Zickler. Now there is no reason not to repeat the starting 11 and the performance as general.
Karnten have lost 0:1 on their visit to LASK but showed nice piece of football. However the team will need some time to pack up and start playing as one but not 3 squads. The game will be played in Pasching because the "home" ground is not ready yet.
My advise is to go quickly on Salzburg before the odds goes down tomorrow.

Japan To Take It All

Pick From Asia Cup 07

1. Japan vs Qatar
Monday, 09 July
My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, VIE
Kick off: 11:20 pm

Prediction: Japan to win
LOST 1:1
The odds:
in Decimal 1.50

The verdict:
At first look I was ready to go for a surprising opening of Japanese campaign but after the UAE game (lost 0:2 by Vietnam) and a deeper research on the squads and team news I will take Japan to win here. The reason I was not so sure in the beginning was the increased pressure on the defending champion and the fact that the Japanese championship finished at the end of June and the players do not have enough time for recovering before taking on another big tournament. Despite the extra training, Japan still look a little bit sluggish, specially they did during their pre-tournament training sessions in the Vietnamese capital. But we shall not forget that Japan have probably the best individual players at the tournament - the team features two Europe-based players, Frankfurt striker Naohiro Takahara and Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura. Other well known players (from 2006 World Championship) as Akira Kaji, Yuichi Komano, Yuji Nakata as well as Yasuhito Endo are ready to book a place in the starting line up tonight.
We can add some last moment injury concerns for Qatar (Al Sass midfielder Wesam Rizik seems not ready) and the fact that if Japan drop points here it will be harder to collect some against desperate to win UAE in the second game.

Limerick 37 To Grab All The 3 Points

Pick From 1 Division

1. Monaghan United vs Limerick 37
Friday, 06 July
Gortakeegan Stadium
Kick off: 8:00 pm

Prediction: Away win
WON - 0:1
The odds:
in Decimal 2.05

The verdict:
Chasing promotion Limerick 37 will visit currently 8 spotted Monaghan in Irish 1 Division tonight game with both teams having pretty different priorities to follow. The guests are flying high now and last time when I saw them down it was on a visit to Finn Harps back in the begging of June (they have lost 3:0). Excluding this record Limerick 37 are playing very confidently on their visits and often keep clean sheets. They last drew top spotted Dundalk 0:0 and after that came amazingly from behind to grab the win 3:2 at home against Shelbourne. Now they are coming to Gortakeegan Stadium for all the 3 points that will not let to open a kind of a gap to the 2nd place in the table. They even have some fresh blood added to the squad - The Shamrock Rovers trio of Wayne Colbert, Tommy Barrett and Robbie Kelleher have all signed contracts with the club. Tonight's visitors do not have any serious injury concerns for the game.
On the other hand it is true that Monaghan somehow recorded 4:0 win vs Shelborne in their last home preformance. It was a real shock as being the first win at home for them since November 2006. I am sure it will be too much to repeat that in a row because last time it was more about a question of some lucky flash of skills not a confident improving of the overall form.
Monaghan's Kevin Williamson and Barry Burke should be back.
